butler creek military sling, plain leather, width 1 inch - Butler Creek Military Sling

This is a nice looking sling for the price. If I install it the way it is seen in internet pictures, is too short for my Ruger 10/22. The picture that comes with the sling shows using a piece of leather with the sling. No piece of leather came with it and there are no written instructions. I had to buy leather to make this work and also had to connect the hook/buckles backwards. Maybe I just like my sling a little more loose on my shoulder? I don't know?
Pros: Nice Leather
Cons: Not long enough.
