Most Helpful Positive Review Mask is great. Don't use the filter.
The mask is made in 94 but perfect. The filters I received are the gp5, which have asbestos. They were not sealed either which means they will not protect you from chemicals. Get new filters and this setup is good to go.

Awesome fit, great field of view.

Mask fits great and is very comfortable with clear lenses. Although I have only tried it on for fit I can say, based on my initial impressions and what I know from experience with other masks, this mask should be comfortable for extended use. Does not include filter.

great masks would highly recommend

Field of view is fantastic and totally universal with standard 40mm canisters. Would of hoped for a drinking tube but I can live without, mask fits as expected, comes with retention band to keep from deformation during storage. Optics planet delivered as expected.

Made for those willing to embrace the situation 10 toes down, head up, shoulders back & chest out. Those unwilling to practice the skills of survival when the fan is turned on; need not apply. Common sense and intestinal fortitude is all that's needed

Good mask, Bad filter

The mask is of good quality and would be sufficient in an NBC environment. It comes packaged new although there is a slight scratch on the lens. There is a plug that can accept a drinking tube if you were to buy one for this model. The filter, however, is a gp5 Soviet filter that DOES CONTAIN ASBESTOS. I bought a $12 Israeli filter and it works just fine now.
