Most Helpful Negative Review Bad FRH and wrong menu description
Ordered the combo with Menu A and B while on sale for $114 which is a great deal. Inspection date is 2019, packed date it 2016. The FRH failed to get but luke-warm. OK, when on sale

Heaters are weak so entrees do not get acceptably hot. Menus are just ok, nothing special. I don't know how long they will last because they are already up for 1st inspection. Not knowing how they were kept in initial storage, I can only assume they are short term and not something you can depend on for real long-term storage. If you're going camping or something soon and need a meal for an outing it is probably just what you need for a meal on the go. Preparing long term? Not as much....

Cons:
  • No storage record
  • Bad value when full price - due to expiry
  • Not much better than a can of soup or manwich heated up?

MRE tastes good

I ordered MREs menu B and received the box pretty quickly. I tried one of the MREs and it tastes great. My next order still hasn't shipped and I was not told it was out of stock. Not happy about that.

Great Deal

Great Food, Great Price, Perfect for camping, emergencies, hiking, etc. Meals taste very good and are filling. I will be definately ordering more of these MRE's. Heaters work great and make food piping hot.

I ordered two boxes, one for myself and one for my daughter who lives across the country in an area where harsh weather can occur. We both had a goal of having some emergency food around that would not require a lot of effort to prepare. She was very happy to receive her box and so was my wife here at home. We had to try one and were very pleased with the meal package. I plan on ordering more of these in the near future. The price is very good and so is the peace of mind.

The product was great, it is not the fault of Optics Planet that the product does not come with matches. Took some time to be delivered but I was not in a hurry. I also feel the customer service was great.
