Not suitable for my use - Cactus Jack Pistol Mini Laser Sight

I wasn't happy with the way it fit. (It cants to one side) This is the first laser sight I have owned so the fit may be typical - I don't know. As shipped, it was severely misaligned. This leads me to conclude it would only be accurate at whatever distance you align it for. In my opinion, this makes it unsuitable for general use. I had intended to use it at the range to improve my accuracy by using a friend to spot for me and track the movement of the laser dot as I fired; hoping that would provide valuable feedback. However, the dot was invisible at 30 feet during daylight so it was useless for my purposes. I couldn't see it until I was about 10 feet from the target. (It's visible inside during the day.) I would return it except it's not defective as far as I can tell. At least I didn't spend a lot for it.
