Most Helpful Positive Review Solid built but with drawbacks
I read all the reviews before ordering this item. Some positive, some negative but at this price I couldn't pass it up. These lasers are built tough and emit a strong laser. The first problem I encountered is that the left mounting grove on the unit is not milled deep enough causing the unit to cant when mounted. It will not effect performance when zeroed, it just looks crappy. The second problem is the mounting screw has a large head and is not recessed into the mount. Not a problem if you mount it on a long gun but on a pistol it won't fit in a holster without damaging it. Any hobby gunsmit...

Bad Laser Sight

by Adnan Taleb, Verified Owner from AZ, United States Written on April 13, 2020
I know its cheap, and i know its tempting, i sure was, but this little laser will seem amazing at first glance, but within 10 minutes you'll realize several draw backs, some of which have been covered by other reviews on here, a few of which i had seen before ordering, and hoped they were just defects in one unit and not all, but that does not seem to be the case. My laser had a problem with the mount groove not being filled deeply enough to catch on botch rails of the gun equally so that it actually mounts horizonatally. However, the laser will be crooked to the eye no matter what, unless you get a gun smith involved. As for the laser it self, turn it on for 1 min straight, and see if it dims significantly like mine does, even with brand new batteries. As for the laser build, some parts like the bottom rail ( which is basically useless ) is metal, which is great, but the battery cover ( which is essential and will be used frequently over the lifetime of the laser) is plastic. Even with using the tools provided ( a set of allen keys), i managed to slightly over tighten the cap and now it wont open because the allen key (metal) has filed the cap in the process of opening ( plastic cap). Besides all of that, even if you manage to zero it fine, dont care about the attachment looking crooked and wont have the laser on for more than 1 minute, then yeah its great, but that's not a realistic standard for a PISTOL LASER ATTACHMENT. Not to mention if you are trying to use this on you ...

not suitable for my use

by M., from OR, United States Written on March 16, 2019
I wasn't happy with the way it fit. (It cants to one side) This is the first laser sight I have owned so the fit may be typical - I don't know. As shipped, it was severely misaligned. This leads me to conclude it would only be accurate at whatever distance you align it for. In my opinion, this makes it unsuitable for general use. I had intended to use it at the range to improve my accuracy by using a friend to spot for me and track the movement of the laser dot as I fired; hoping that would provide valuable feedback. However, the dot was invisible at 30 feet during daylight so it was useless for my purposes. I couldn't see it until I was about 10 feet from the target. (It's visible inside during the day.) I would return it except it's not defective as far as I can tell. At least I didn't spend a lot for it.
