Minox BV 10 x 25 BR compact binoculars
Purchased a pair of Minox BV 10x25 BR binoculars. First impressions are that these compacts are very well made and finished. Looking through them the glass appears to be of high quality giving a sharp clear image with little noticeable distortion to the side of the field of view.The adjustments for individual eye vision work well and the the eyecups for non eyeglass wearers are useful. These small light binoculars work very well within the limitations of compact optical systems, such as small objective lenses limiting light gathering in low light conditions. In bright light they give a great view. I'm very pleased with them.

Minox Binoculars
These are relatively small binoculars for birding and as such are not usually recommended, however in daylight they are fine. I tested them for resolution and they excel. The diopter setting does not need to be adjusted after the first time. The coatings match my much more expensive larger binocs. I'm very happy with them. I didn't even mention the general mechanics which seem to exceed the Japanese brands.
