Ive used many binoculars in the field and at sea over my lifetime. I chose the BV II 8x25 BR because of the Minox reputation. I am not disappointed. The styling, fit and feel are impressive. The optics are sharp and bright. Compact and lightweight, these were a joy to use at a minor league baseball game. Focusing is very smooth, but a bit quick. Eye relief could be longer, but I still was able to see almost the whole field of view wearing eyeglasses. The BV II come with a nice neoprene neck strap; the padded case is a bit tight-fitting. Well worth the price.
