Sadly disappointed
So, I want to start off by saying that I love MFT and a lot of their products. I have the MFT Minimalist stock on almost every AR that I own, and I can't speak of it highly enough. I'm a big fan of their products, so that led me to the full set of flip-up sights. I purchased this one and the front sight along with it. I liked the concept of the sight being in a somewhat enclosed casing when it wasn't in use, and it looked pretty cool and sleek. I thought I'd hit the jackpot. Then, once getting it on, I began regretting it immediately. They're flimsy, the springs don't pop the sights up ...

Crappy sight
This sight came on an AR that I bought and knew almost immediately that I would be replacing it with a better rear sight. The plastic is cheap and flimsy; I'm not the strongest guy, but I can grab it and flex/bend the entire sight. Could probably snap it in half if I desired. The worst part about this sight is that fact that you cant even see through it when in direct sunlight or a lit room. There's a glare that goes around the sight right that makes it nearly impossible to see the front sight or your target. I cant see any practical use for this rear sight due to the poor visibility in direct light alone.
