If you have optics mounted toward the rear of the rifle where it interferes with the charging handle, this is all you need to improve your ability to grasp the charging handle without spending $60-$80 on a new charging handle. Install one of these for next to nothing and you will be able to feel the difference immediately.
Pros:
- Inexpensive
- Better feel over stock
- Easier to grab
Cons:
- Impossible to install w/o proper tools
- Small pin is easy to lose during installation
Best Used for:
- Improving grip on charging handle with mounted optics
