Poppi's Review of Mission First Tactical React Folding Grip

I was looking for a vertical grip to fit on a picatinney rail on the standard forend of a non-AR rifle that was compact, foldable and stable in either direction, and had hidden storage in the handle. After researching several websites, I chose Optics Planet as the preferred website to purchase because of their technical help if needed and the reviews of prior customers had significantly more detail. Not all heights were provided by the manufacturers so I asked for assistance from "Ask a Question" for those few. The height was important as I didn't want it to stick out like a sore thumb when open. The handle fit in my hand perfectly and I could get a good and secure 3-finger grip which was fine for me. The bottom of the handle is flat and textured enough to serve as a quick bench rest and not slide. I chose this item over others as it met all the objectives I was looking for. The selection was large enough to provide comparisons of like grips as well as grips that that had enhanced or additional capabilities that I didn't need and/or didn't feel the necessity to pay for. The grip installed easily on the rail, "locked in" securely in each of the three positions, hides away nicely when closed, unobtrusive when open, and reasonably priced. This was the ONE.
CONS: the surface of the grip could stand a bit more "tactical" texture, but after-market tape should correct that, and the position selector button is not ambidextrous and a little tight to push in but will probably loosen up with exercise.
