Great quality but a misfit
Written on Feb 24, 2022
Unfortunately, despite the great product, the hole locations on the rail did not line up with receiver threads.Despite my research and answers sought before purchase, they didn’t match.Tried to widen the holes but unsuccessful. It was a waste of my money as it now sits in a drawer of scrap.

Military Shoulder Nylon with Adjustable Strap
Written on Mar 09, 2018
This shoulder holster was ordered for my Ruger Security Six revolver with a 6" barrel that I just recently purchased. I wasn't expecting much as most shoulder holster systems are much more expensive and include a harness for each shoulder with cross straps, etc. To cover my bases I ordered an OWB leather belt holster from Triple K Holsters custom fitted for this revolver. Upon receiving the Elite Survival Systems Shoulder Holster, I was quite surprised with the quality as it is very well made. The revolver fit into it as if it were made for it. I adjusted the strap length for my personal use and modified the length of the retention strap so I could "unsnap it" easily with one finger. The quick connect/disconnect snap comes in handy for quick removal. The belt strap holds the rig with revolver right where I wanted it. Quite simple actually. No cross straps to contend with and simple to use and configure. As a result of my happiness with this shoulder rig, I returned the OWB leather holster after it arrived. Although the Triple K holster was made for a custom fit to my revolver, the shoulder rig was better at carrying my 6" barrel revolver. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars as it did not come with a shoulder pad, which I added afterwards, and highly recommend it for a more comfortable fit. All in all, a very good buy!

Review of Mission First Tactical React Folding Grip

Review for
Mission First Tactical React Folding Grip
I was looking for a vertical grip to fit on a picatinney rail on the standard forend of a non-AR rifle that was compact, foldable and stable in either direction, and had hidden storage in the handle. After researching several websites, I chose Optics Planet as the preferred website to purchase because of their technical help if needed and the reviews of prior customers had significantly more detail. Not all heights were provided by the manufacturers so I asked for assistance from "Ask a Question" for those few. The height was important as I didn't want it to stick out like a sore thumb when open. The handle fit in my hand perfectly and I could get a good and secure 3-finger grip which was fine for me. The bottom of the handle is flat and textured enough to serve as a quick bench rest and not slide. I chose this item over others as it met all the objectives I was looking for. The selection was large enough to provide comparisons of like grips as well as grips that that had enhanced or additional capabilities that I didn't need and/or didn't feel the necessity to pay for. The grip installed easily on the rail, "locked in" securely in each of the three positions, hides away nicely when closed, unobtrusive when open, and reasonably priced. This was the ONE.
CONS: the surface of the grip could stand a bit more "tactical" texture, but after-market tape should correct that, and the position selector button is not ambidextrous and a little tight to push in but will probably loose

Review of Primary Weapons Systems Precision Rifle Compensator
Written on Nov 01, 2017
I received this product in time to forward it with my rifle barrel to my gunsmith for attachment. Threaded 5/8 x 24, it was the only compensator that was three inches in length that i could find. Exactly the size I needed to bring the barrel length to 16 inches which is required by law for it to be used as a rifle. most of what I found were only two inches to two and a half inches which Primary Weapon Systems also carried on Optics Planet, but no one else had anything longer. I compared pricing with several other providers but Optics Planet not only was the lowest price but also had the entire specifications listed. Very few list the length and that was what I needed in addition to the thread size. The help I got from the technical staff made a huge difference as I had never purchased a compensator before. They also took the time to explain to me the difference between compensators, brakes, and flash hiders and I will certainly use them again as they saved me a lot of research time.
