Exactly as described and the best price I found. The only downside was the wait. The baton was back ordered for months. Optics Planet kept me informed and even gave me the option to cancel or change the order. But I waited and I'm very happy with the product.

Monadnock (Safariland) produces great quality products. The customer services is great, and when you're life depends on it, you want to make sure you get a brand name like Monadnock. Optics Planet is a great source.

Monadnock Autolock 26" w/Power Safety Tip
This baton is a great imporvement over ASP's selection. The ability to open and close the baton without compromising the combat stance is a tactical advantage.

Perfect size for Correctional Applications
This is the .45 caliber of batons. Perfect for my correctional applications. Only draw backs are the paint chipped on day one, right above the grip portion. Deploying the baton needs a lot of force to get a full extension and lock. I've seen applications saying it just needs a little downward force to expand the baton, not true. Even lubricated it as per the manual with no luck. But I've learned to deal with it and got mine to work the way it needed it to. The best thing to like about it is not having to slam in on the ground to close the baton. Friction lock owners envy it...

Best Value But Didn't Work Right
This item is sold here for the best price I could find but I had do send it back to get another one because the locking mechanism did not work as it should. I know the product is good.
