More than compatible when comparing to the more expensive Cantilever mounts. I own Leopold, Geissele, Vortex and Im just as happy woth this unit.

Great mount for what you pay for. Works great so far. Mounted on a 300 blackout ar build I just finished.

The AR-15 mount

I was asked to review this product at first question I ask it's made in China ? And I bought 2 of them, and another one it also was made in China so not American made. Both are dark earth color and mount to a picannany base, the rings have 6 bolts for each ring and I only used 4 for each ring I also haven't shot the gun yet it was mounted on a 350 legend upper and put a Simmons 3x9x50mm scope on it. The mount did come with a small torx head tool and did have bolts to mount to the rail with 3/8's nuts. Really mounted fairly easily and once I shoot it I'll know more.

Cons:
  • It's Aluminum and becareful not to strip the threads of the rings

Quality Hasn't Changed

Over the past three years I've ordered several of these and they have become my "go-to" mount for AR scopes. They are very sturdy and the finish as good as what I've seen on more expensive cantilever mounts I've purchased in the past. But I figure why pay more, so now I don't. I'm careful not to torque the screws too much. I get things nice and snug with blue Lock Tite and then no issues.

  • Quality and Finish
Cons:
  • For heavy tactical use I'd go with a premium brand instead.
Best Used for:
  • hunting
  • Training and self defense
  • range and target shooting

Seems like with a little more design thought, a few ounces could have been removed without sacrificing Strength, probably with a slight increase in cost and machining time

Off set scope mount for AR15

This is a well made offset scope mount that works very well on my AR15. Not the top end of scope mounts, but perfect for inexpensive builds! Will buy again when I build another AR.
