Most Helpful Positive Review Solid Barrel
Barrel is extra thick, excellent deep bluing. Exactly as advertised, very, reasonable price, cheapest around. May be used for home protection as well- not just breech doors. Heavy but manageable. Barrel is 18 1/2”, ones w/ easy to read instructions. Fast delivery; customer service was professional,friendly & knowledgeable. Have not used it, yet. Fits my Mossberg well - I have a wood stock & balances well

Hope it's only my bbl fowled...

This is the worst lead-fowled shotgun bbl I've ever seen!! I know they test fire at the factory but this looks 10 boxes of wax & lead shot. I've used 1/3 bottle of 'nitro' 1/4 bottle of 'breakfree' all w/wire brush scrubbing and little improvement....

Great item and good price.

This barrel worked perfectly with my Mossberg Maverick receiver. It added weight to the shotgun which made it more controllable. With the price of firearms being quite high, I was able to buy the budget shotgun and this barrel. I saved money and have a very reliable home defense firearm. Keep in mind with any firearm purchase. Do your research first. Mossberg customer service was very helpful in answering all my questions. The You Tube channel-TFB TV did a torture test on the Maverick and that is what cinched the deal. The local Wal Mart had Mavericks on sale for $195.00. It all fell into place. All it took was a little patience.

Good price, great barrel.

Best price on this barrel that I found. The broker sites advertised lower prices, but their shipping & handling charges made them much higher. And I can trust Optics Planet. Shipped quickly and arrived in perfect condition. Fits my Mossberg 500 perfectly and shoots great. Sadly, the barrel cost, now, as much as the shotgun did then, but, admittedly, that was in about 1983.
