Pictured incorrectly and Damaged
Ordered this for dove opener. After UPS losing my order and not updating my order until 4 hours before delivery, I received this barrel. Upon inspection of the barrel I noticed wear marks all over the barrel.i would upload photo, but I don't see the option. I also realized this barrel is not ported like the one photo. Unfortunately I am out of time and will have to use this barrel this season.
Good customer service
Similar to the other review, mine came scuffed in a couple places. Optics planet gave me a partial refund. I'll reach out to Mossberg soon regarding how they package the barrels. My improved cylinder choke was for a 410 or 20 and didn't fit. The other two fit fine, came with wrench. Only one in stock across the web at the time, hunting season in a couple weeks. Used the refund on some cold blue.No porting, don't think I'd care for that anyway as I don't want an even louder gun.

Hard to find barrel
Looked everywhere for the 24in 12ga barrel for my 500 bird gun, hard to find 500 barrels these days. Like every Mossberg barrel shipped to me, it had finish wear in the bluing. Not optic planets fault, definitely Mossberg’s QC. But a few swipes with a birchwood casey blueing pen and it looks great now. Can’t wait to shoot it
