Mossberg Sighting System
Mossberg's Ghost-Ring sight kit is a superb factory addition for any unequipped Mossberg shotgun. The rear inner ring is well protected by the large and substantial 'wings' on either side. The front sight is a wide highly visible ramp post which picks up well even in bright sunlight. Buyers should keep in mind this product does require silver soldering for the front sight which most novices cannot and should not perform. Silver soldering should be performed by a qualified gunsmith and it will necessarily require refinishing the barrel due to the heat process.
Well priced ghost sight kit with solder on front sight
This is a nice ghost sight but the base of the front blade sight base should be in the white (unfinished) because the finish on it needs to be removed where the solder needs to bond between the barrel and the base and the rest of the finish on the base will cook off during the silver soldering process. After it is fixed in place and cleaned up you will need to Blue or otherwise refinish the base anyway.

Surgical baby!
Must have upgrade for any Mossberg 590 platform. With the adjustable windage target acquisition is smooth and easy, enabling the shooter to consistently put slugs on point. The only downside was the six month wait because of the back order.
