It fits the mossberg 590a1, however the thickness of the barrel makes the installation differential. Just make sure you have it on even and in the correct spot. There shouldn't be a problem did not even need the screws as its preatty well jammed in there. Does make it look really cool though.
Mossberg 500 Heatsheild
The heatsheild is a nice addition to my Maverick 88. It gives it a Trench gun vibe. Removing the front bead is needed, and it requires a 5/32 socket to remove it. After putting the heatsheild on it can be secured with 7/64 Allen key and 5/16 socket. The included spacer is made for a 20 inch barrel with a 7 capacity tube. It would need to be trimmed to fit if you have a shorter mag tube

bolt broke
The heat shield is a great touch to my 500 but as soon as I finished tightening the retaining bolts one of them snapped Im very disappointed in the quality

Mossberg heat shield
Fits perfectly and esy to install. This heat shield along with a new stock and barrel helped me convert an old bird hunting mossberg 500 pump into an awesome home defense shotgun for a fraction of the cost of a new one.
