I chose to pay a little more for this rail in order to get a Mossberg-branded one under the assumption that fit and finish would be perfect. I was not disappointed. The rail will obscure your ability to use the bead in the absence of an optic. Ironically, no taller aftermarket front bead seems to exist although forums are filled with users looking for just such an item.
