Promptly shipped and arrived as advertised. The sound quality exceeded my expectations (better than my cell phone) and the convenience and functionality of the buttons and features were a big bonus. I have tested the range on my property (about 10 acres) with crystal clear perfect performance. I have tested it at ranges of 1-7 miles in my mostly level rural community with very limited distortion. I only ranked it at 4 stars because I have not yet had a chance to test the max range yet and will upgrade to 5 if the max range is reasonable. I am extremely pleased with these radios. The ability to use USB rechargeable batteries or regular alkaline as well as the rugged construction and waterproof features were big selling points for me as well.
