Most Helpful Negative Review warped and wont lock

It wont fit 338 lapua as some commits said it would. It is also very warped, so bad the lock wont even touch. So I have to tape it shut. Will definitely not be buying again. It also took forever for the shipping.

338 Lapua Tips Down Only

Love MTM stuff, BUT these only fit 338 Lapua tips down. Their MTM H50-XL-10 (green) or MTM H50-XL-24 (blue) allows 338 Lapua tips up.

MTM has a lot of great ammo boxes and cans! But, .338 Lapua will NOT bottom out with tips up in these. Their H50-XL-24s do though.

Shipping was good, the ammo box is sturdy, well made with no issues noted with the hinges or lid latch. Holds 7MM REM Magnum ammo in the bullet up or down position with no issues noted.

MTM has been my choice for ammo storage for decades. This box is a great option for the larger calibers. KI use it for the 6.5-300 Weatherby, but it is good for most all the longer magnum cases. Like all MTM products I expect to get years of service at a great price.

Quality box

It works great for my 300 weatherby mag. Optics planet is the cheapest place you'll find it. The box is constructed well and has a label with it so you can document your load information. A good companion to any reloaded or someone wanting to store more ammo in one container

A good value for storing rounds

The MTM 50 Round Ammo Box is great for large rounds and really are quite sturdy and rugged. They stay closed during transport and protect the rounds well, seating each and preventing knocking.
