Great Product
MTM Ammo cases are the best on the market. They have a heavy duty mechanical hinge that doesn't break with use like the cheap ones made in China. They come in several different colors so you can use them to sort different loads of the same type ammo. The plastic they use to make these boxes is very high quality and doesn't dry out and become brittle. They are made in a way that you can stack them 5 and 6 high on a shelf easy. Another great feature they come with self sticking labels that you can mark what the caliber and load ammo is in the box.

Excellent Heavy Duty Box
I use these store 40-65 ammo. Because of the design they must be used base down for any of large straight wall cartridges. If rattling is an issue a piece of appropriately sized foam rubber can be cut to fit the lid to hold the cartridges in place, The boxes are well constructed out of firm heavy wall plastic with a full hinge, not just a plastic flap, so they stay fully open. Fit and finish are excellent and the boxes stack easily.

Does not fit 45/70 well
Case difficult to close as front row of cartridges interfere with cover. Cartridges are very loose and bang around.
