Could be better,but can't beat the price
Adequate for its intended purpose but would not recommend for transporting on airline flights.
The good...Nice thick quality foam securely holds firearms in place. Plastic case is reasonably solid. Has two holes for locks on opposite sides of the handle.
The bad...there is a small gap when closed. Edges of plastic is kind of thin. Latches are ok; they don't snap shut, if I didn't have locks attached I'd be wary of dropping it as it could possibly open.
Summary...my reason of purchasing was so that I only had to bring one case to the range and for that purpose it is fine, but don't exp...

Hard Pistol Case

Great for the money
This is a better pistol case than I was expecting for the money. It securely holds a 6.5" Magnum Research BFR 454 Casull with a Leupold scope. I thought it would be a bit bigger, but it is just right for this pistol. It will hold a 7.5" Ruger Super Redhawk, as well; just not at the same time! The latches seem to secure the lid well. Good for normal travel and use. I would want something nicer for air travel, etc.

Good Value for the Price
If you are looking for a case to hold one pistol, a couple of magazines, maybe the manual and some ammo this is a good value. The treated foam does not seem to hold moisture. There is room for two pistols, but I prefer one pistol and accessories. I also have a small spiral range note book for each of my pistols and with one gun in the case, that works along with ammo etc. Back and forth to the range it is great. For shipping, I would put an over wrap box on it (I save the ones they came in for this).

MTM Two Pistol Case
It's bigger then you would imagine, while somehow managing to be thin enough that it's not gobbling up space behind the truck seats. Lots of padding inside. Locks securely and does not let your items shift around. Black with the typical gray foam inside. Really nice with a large frame pistol, suppressor, extra magazines and additional ammo.

Black two pistol handgun case
Great case at a good price. Case is just as advertised. Perfect size and shape for my needs. Will easily hold two handguns and is not overly bulky. Opticsplant.com delivered and the website was easy to navigate!
