Johnny Utah's Review of MTM High-Low Shooting Table
So adding to my MTM collection of accessories was the High-Low Shooting Table. Since I go to recreation area where there are no tables, stands, or any kind of accommodations I always have to bring the kitchen sink. I took this out last weekend and definitely am glad I bought it. Due to the terrain (desert mostly), I appreciated taking shots off the ground and not having dust and debris being blown my face or the action. Adjustability, lightweight and ease of setup are all factors that make this a great buy.
Given the price, my cons are really personal nitpicks and do not at all take away from the product in the big picture of things. I personally am looking into upgrading the sling as it is made from thin nylon that will wear out with heavy use, the fast-tex type buckle strap that secures the tripod legs is really thin and does not feel it will last a couple years. Again, these are minor things that do not affect the overall function of the table.
So far I have not come across a MTM product I did not like. For what you pay and what you get, this is a great deal. I tried shooting using a bipod and using a padded rifle rest, this table allowed room for both while still having enough room for spare ammo on the side.
