Inherited several of these boxes and really liked them. Searched for a long time to buy more and finally found them at optics planet. Very happy to have more of these now, they will last for generations. They work great for 9mm and 38 super as well.

MTM J-50 Slip-Top Box for .38 Special/.357 Magnum Red J-50-38-30

I ordered two and I was pleased with the items. They are thick and durable. They load with the brass up. With the slip top they are much easier to use on a reloading bench! Of course you could transfer your rounds from the cardboard box you buy them in into these making the rounds easier to remove. Since the boxes are slip top a rubber band around the box and top will keep rounds from spilling out. Satisfied with the price!

MTM slip tops

I like slip tops better than flip tops-the lid doesn't get in the way.Also,they can be used as small loading blocks.Sturdy and precise.When loaded and closed,they are short and compact,only as tall as the cartridge length.You may want to rubber band them for transport,however.
