I've been lied to
Mystery Ranch's website, and this site both said this product was made in USA. The tag on the one I received says made in Vietnam. If I had known that I wouldn't have bought it. This matters to me for spending hundreds of dollars on a backpack.
Very good for camping and carrying heavy loads
I got this originally for carrying some weights around, but then started using it for camping. It has enough space for multiple changes of clothes, and also a alcohol stove, food, water, and eating supplies. It's pretty balanced once you get used to it, and the waist straps are very helpful with keeping your balance. It's not the greatest at being water resistant, but even when the bag got soaked, the inside contents were only slightly damp. For my clothes I used a airtight bag, so they weren't ruined, and the moisture inside from all day rain of WA wasn't enough to even get my battery packs wet.

- Light enough, holds a lot of stuff

- Not the best for weather proofing

Great pack!
More Mystery Ranch quality. I have 2 other Mystery ranch packs also. Pack is big enough for winter gear, lots of room for attachments with molle webbing. Carries weight easily (50lbs +), so far I have about 90 miles with it. Solid zippers. the pack is not waterproof, but very water resistant (including zippers) and dries quickly. My new favorite pack.

OD green and made in Vietnam
This bag is OD green and made in Vietnam. But it is half the price of made in USA. Awesome quality and very good looking bag that you can pass it down to your kids. For the price and quality, I got no problem of made in Vietnam. In the title it's INTL backpack which means it is not made in USA. I highly recommend it if you got no problem of where it is made.
