Cheap plastic straps
This will fail you in a big way. The shoulder straps are made of plastic. If these break ( mine did after two days of use in the wild) then you can not wear or put the pack on. I had to drag the pack back to camp because the plastic strap binding that allows you wear this pack broke. These are KEY and should be made of metal not plastic, once they go you are DONE!

Great pack
This is a lightweight very durable pack I would highly recommend one if he was going to pack in. Optic plant it has horrible shipping this took several weeks to get in so if you’re going on a trip I recommend 30 days in advance ordering
