Seems complicated
I haven't used the pack out in the field yet but just messed winds with it at my house. Switching over to the meat hauling mode is quite the task although maybe it won't be so bad with more practice but as of now it's a little much. The bag is nice and light though and there seems to be plenty of storage for possibly up to a few nights if you pack light.

Versatile Pack
Versatile pack that can be compressed down for day hunts or expanded for overnight trips. Overload shelf provides plenty of room for packing out meat. Lightweight and comfortable wearing yet still well constructed. Great pack from Mystery Ranch.

Good product
This bag is perfect, the load hauling capability as well as the storage space is just right, it seems to be made very stout, the multicam color is great as well, cant really find anything I dont like about this bag, I will choose mystery ranch in the future for any other packs I need to purchase, and I'll also be referring others to mystery ranch for packs.

Received the pack around a month ago. Haven't been able to take hunting but have taken it backpacking with the dog. Put around 30 miles on it. Feels comfortable, the new frame flexes with your body yet still feels supportive when carrying stuff in overload shelf (loaded 45 lb barbell plate in shelf). Cant wait until late fall.
