Speedloader for 223
I got this tool with a box of 20 stripper clips. It will stuff a full stripper clip into a high capacity magazine fairly easily and quickly, but you have to make sure you do your part right up to the last round or it will misload and you'll drop a round or two. This means exerting even and deliberate force through the whole stroke. If you are tentative at all in the downward thrust, it will misload, which makes sense and isn't something I would fault the product for. A must have for the range
This item makes reloading AR mags beyond easy and quick. I pre-load all my 223 rounds in stripper clips then just bring full stripper clips and the speed loader with me. take about 5sec per stripper to be loaded in the mag. It is constructed from a high grade polymer that is extremely sturdy. The plunger contains magnets so when removing the plunger it removes the spent clip. I have been using it for well over a year now and it is still in the same condition as I purchased it. For the price and use you cant compete.

Didn’t last a week
Went to a work related shooting school where I shot approximately 3500 5.56 rounds last week. Three days in and after approximately loading 150ish stripper clips, some of the plastic on the handle that pushes rounds off the stripper clip broke off and made the speed loader unusable.
Would recommend: No
Budget piece
This piece is perfect on the outside. However, the lack of attention to detail on the inside left me wandering why they constructed it this way. My first thought was "money". This piece works, but I am not sure for how long given the inside look. A good piece for the money.

Well made,works great, easy to use with stripper clips and at a good price. I use the speed loader with 10, 20 and 30 round 223 magazines. I've used other loaders in the past and none have worked as well as this one.

quick ammunition loader
It is a very quick and easy way to load magazines up as long as you have stripper clips. It is kind of hard to get the ammunition loader attached to the magazine at first. It is easiest to do with the USGI mags and a bit harder with polymer magazines.
