MigChaser's Review of NcStar Pistol And Rifle Green Laser with Weaver Mount/Pressure Switch
People say that you shouldn't expect much when not paying much. Fifty dollars is no chump change. And I know there is no where near $15.00 worth of material and labor in this product, so, if you're going to gouge the consumer, then you better expect that the consumer is not going to be too kind when it comes to reviewing a low quality product.
The laser, if you want to call it that, has terrible flare. I called Nc Star and they suggested that I check a few things, (check for obstructions by the dust cover, which there was none, and to check to make sure the glass is clean, which it was) then call them back if problem still exists. Problem unresolved.
Another email afterwards suggesting to call them back for more troubleshooting. The trouble with that is that I'd rather be shooting than troubleshooting a new product.
Nc Star said that I should send it in and they will repair it. I would have to pay for sending it. No way. No how that's happening. I am not paying shipping to repair a brand new product that I am quite certain that they are aware of its shortcomings. What ticked me off was that I asked them two times about why they can't pay for the shipping to them and both times they ignored my question. Well, Paul in tech department, you followed your company's policy to the T. And, in doing so, you have lost a customer and earned your product a terrible review. I will be returning this item to the retailer and exchanging it for another brand. Way to go, Paul. Good job.
