No Good. I noticed that the elevation turret was a little mushy, click wise, but the windage turret was very crisp. I thought that that was a rather large discrepancy in feel between the two turrets but went ahead and installed it, anyway. Torqued it to specs and while bore sighting it the elevation turret lost all whatever clicks that it had and the reticle stopped responding to any input by that turret. The windage turret was fine.

I should've known after reading the instructions that warned to make sure and not to turn the turrets by more than a certain amount of clicks per adjustment. It said something about damaging the springs. Well, that's a first. I have other economical scopes and this is the first time that I've experienced something like this.

The rifle this was to go on is a 22LR.

This scope never made it to the range, or was never used while firing that rifle. This scope should never have made it out of the factory. It was defective before it left.

This laser works well. Easy to install. Does not affect gun performance. Took about 10 minutes to install. I've read where other users of this item have had some issues with it not turning on/off consistently. I had the same issue in beginning but it cleared up after a few cycles of the of the slide. I just think it was an electrical grounding issue. Haven't had that problem since.

Another complaint is the laser does not have a constant On mode. It is a flashing mode only. It would be nice to have the choice but it's not a deal breaker. A flashing laser dot is actually easier to pick up, sight wise, than a steady beam. So, don't let that be a deal breaker for you.

The on/off switch is somewhat convenient to operate. Turning on the laser is very accessible and handy with your index finger. Turning it off is not as convenient. To do so, requires the left hand (if you're right handed) since the switch has to be pushed back from the other side of the gun. Again, it's not that bad of a thing to have to deal with. It would be nice if the laser could be turned off by pressing the same button again from the same side.

Although there are no adjustments, the laser is very close in line with the barrel bore.

This type of laser is very nice to have. It adds zero bulk and there's no need for special holsters And best of all, it allows the user to retain his/her firearm's sleek lines, specially in the case of the Beretta 92FS. I think it would be cardinal sin to defa

This is a good product. It worked well for me. I needed it to mount a reflex sight on top of a scope (the scope has built in rails) on my S&W M&P 15-22 rifle so it had to be low in profile but high enough to clear the elevation turret so as not to sit too high on the rifle. Light weight. Sturdy. Good unit.

Nice laser. I have it mounted on an S&W M&P 15-22. I have taken it to the range two times so far and it seems to hold zero fairly well. The green laser can be easily seen in day time. Of course, on a very bright day, it is going to be a little harder to see than on a somewhat cloudy day. It does have a blinking flashing mode, so that helps in locating the dot.

It is easy to turn on and off. The button is easy to operate. I actually have it mounted on the top rail, just in front of a scope. I have removed the iron sights so I can mount a scope, so mounting it on top isn't an issue. Although, the laser sits fairly high, it does not interfer with the scope. The reason I have it mounted on the top rail is that so I can easily operate the on off switch with my thumb. This set up is very intuitive while holding the rifle in the firing position. It requires minimal movements from the left hand, merely moving your thumb a very small distance. Mounting it this way keeps you from having to attach the remote switch, which I think makes the weapon very cumbersome. You do not need any wires routed around the weapon.

This is a good unit. I like it.

This laser is very difficult to operate. The on off buttons are flush with the main body therefore making pressing the red switch very inaccessible. You have to have very pointy finger tips to be able to operate it. It was actually very annoying trying use it. After messing with it for all of two minutes, it became so aggravating that I made the decision right then and there to return it. Very poorly designed. Very.

This laser is almost entirely made out of plastic. Even the part that attaches to the rail is plastic. Does not bode well for durability or reliability. It can be easily made to move around when fastened to the rail due to the plastic construction, which means that it will not hold zero. Again, something like this should be selling for under ten dollars. Not a penny more.

I would not recommend this laser at all.

I thought I'd take a chance on this scope and hope for the best. Not so. The reflex sight is defective straight out of the box. I contacted NcStar and they will not send a shipping label to return it to them for warranty.

As I told Matt, the tech support manager, I can see me paying for the shipping to them had the sight malfunctioned after some usage. In this case, since this is a common issue with this unit, and I am certain that NcStar is aware of this situation yet they continue to ship out defective merchandise, I did not get any usage out of it and I already have to spend more money just so that I can get a working unit.

If you are going to order this scope, or any other scope of this brand, be sure to factor in shipping, possibly multiple times, for warranty as soon as you receive your product. Because it WILL be defective. I ordered two of these, and both have the same issue. Buyer beware.

This is a good laser. Everything works as advertised. If you buy this model, I strongly recommend the application of Loctite to the adjustment screws as they are very loose.

I will not be using this laser because of its design. I did not think of this until after the order was shipped. The problem is that the lasers are not on a 90 degree axis to the barrel of the rifle. The effect that that will have is that when your target is closer or farther than where the laser is sighted, your point of aim changes diagonally instead of vertically (as opposed to the laser being mounted below or above the barrel)and that makes it a little difficult to compensate for whereas if it's mounted perpendicular to the barrel. With the laser mounted perpendicular to the barrel, adjusting for the difference in distance is more intuitive. Also, making adjustments will almost always require adjustment of the windage and the elevation screws to compensate for the off perpendicular mounting.

This may not be an issue to some, but, for me it is since I prefer to operate any firearm intuitively rather than have to think outside the realm of intuitiveness; which may adversely affect the outcome of a situation. In high stress situations, we operate best using basic instincts.

Even if you mount this unit on the side of a barrel, the geometry will not change. This unit needs to be redesigned so that the lasers are mounted on top of one another. Then, it will be a good laser to use.

People say that you shouldn't expect much when not paying much. Fifty dollars is no chump change. And I know there is no where near $15.00 worth of material and labor in this product, so, if you're going to gouge the consumer, then you better expect that the consumer is not going to be too kind when it comes to reviewing a low quality product.

The laser, if you want to call it that, has terrible flare. I called Nc Star and they suggested that I check a few things, (check for obstructions by the dust cover, which there was none, and to check to make sure the glass is clean, which it was) then call them back if problem still exists. Problem unresolved.

Another email afterwards suggesting to call them back for more troubleshooting. The trouble with that is that I'd rather be shooting than troubleshooting a new product.

Nc Star said that I should send it in and they will repair it. I would have to pay for sending it. No way. No how that's happening. I am not paying shipping to repair a brand new product that I am quite certain that they are aware of its shortcomings. What ticked me off was that I asked them two times about why they can't pay for the shipping to them and both times they ignored my question. Well, Paul in tech department, you followed your company's policy to the T. And, in doing so, you have lost a customer and earned your product a terrible review. I will be returning this item to the retailer and exchanging it for another brand. Way to go, Paul.
