this is the best thing since sliced bread if you put a scope on your shotgun to hunt. I have a regular bore sighter that fits a shotgun but with the addition of the height of the scope and the mount you can't use them and unless you have a bolt shotgun you can't look down the barrel to get it close. This thing is remarkable-just slide it in the chamber and put it in the vice and the laser beam will show up clearly at 30 yards in bright sunlight on a white surface or probably any other surface you may be using. took 2-4 shots to get it dialed in dead center and ready to go hunting. extracted with no problems by hand-do not close the bolt on it. quality workmanship and material. fit precisely and for the price was far beyond my expectations. at the price of shells now and the pounding you take off the bench when sighting in a magnum shotgun you don't want to be without this item in your gear box. paid for itself with the first shotgun to be sighted in.
