When it works, its great! - NcSTAR 1x40 Red Dot Sight w/ Built in Red Laser-QR Weaver Mount

I bought this scope thinking that i had found a good cheap red-dot sight to put on my ar-15. After only 170 rounds, it started malfunctioning. The external laser's intensity flickered after shots intermittantly, and the dot its self turned off several times. Thinking it might just have been to strong of a gun, i put it on my ruger 10/22, only to encounter the same problem.

My gun dealer told me theres nothing more expensive than a cheap boot, but i think a cheap sight might be. Spend the extra few bucks, and go with an eotech or c more.
Pros: It was cheap
Cons: it felt cheap and acted cheap
