Nice AR scope fpr the money
I bought two of these to try out on my AR15's and they work fine. They hold zero and the mount is actually much better than I expected. The lense retainer came loose on one of them so I bought it back and traded it for a new one. Put a little blue loctite on it and we're good to go. Probably 200 rou...

When it works, its great!
I bought this scope thinking that i had found a good cheap red-dot sight to put on my ar-15. After only 170 rounds, it started malfunctioning. The external laser's intensity flickered after shots intermittantly, and the dot its self turned off several times. Thinking it might just have been to stron...

Love the big 40mm size and integrated laser
I love this red dot sight and its laser. The variable intensity works great in strong daylight. Some reviewers have had problems with it that could be related to its use of a Weaver rail rather than a Picatinny rail. The two rail types look a lot alike but in this specific case the Weaver rail used by this optic fits slightly loose on top of a typical Picatinny rail. You will need a riser that is slightly wider on top or you will need to use something like aluminum foil or epoxy to fill in the extra space. I own several Picatinny risers but only one was just wide enough to give this optic a tight fit.

Useless mount
Bought one to put on an AR and it looks neat. The problem comes in when you actually use the rifle. After about 15 rounds, the lever on the “quick release” does exactly that! While at the range, it just opens up and falls onto the shooting bench. I’m not above thinking that maybe I didn’t have it locked down correctly, so I put it back on. Long story short, this repeated multiple times. I like the concept of the sight and the large optic makes target acquisition fast and easy, but it doesn’t help much if it won’t stay on the rifle.
Pros:
- Large Optic Window
Cons:
- Mount will not lock on.

Laser-QR Red Dot
Fits well with no movement. Bright red dots. Have not tested under fire so cannot attest to reliability of maintaing zero after use. Seems to be very well made. For the price, I say give it a try.

Fantastic Red Dot w/ Laser
I know many say there is not a good red dot / Laser sight but for the money this one is fantastic. It was very easy to set and is on the money whether I use the red dot, the laser or the combination. Unless you want to spend $1000 buy this and try it ....you will be happy. Thanks NcSTAR and Optics Planet!!!!

Good Site no matter what they say
Purchased this for my HiPoint 9mm as an in expensive red dot w/laser for action steel shooting. Dot was a little difficult to zero but once there held it fine.
Fired nearly 1000 rounds in competition with out any issues. I recently switched to my 22lr since my BSA broke and works fine there too.
I purchase and trust NCStar products and this was a good purchase for me.
Pros: Easy to mount, bright dot, all metal construction
Cons: Difficult to zero

NC Star 1x40mm Tactical Red Dot Sight with Laser
I purchased this several years ago, mistakenly thinking it would work on my home protection shotgun. It was hard to zero, then once on, it would not stay. It's off the gun(s) and in the closet. I may try it on an airgun just to get some use out of it.
Cons: Will not hold zero

easy to use, good looking red dot
its a pretty standard red dot, comparable to the other cheap red dots you can buy anywhere. The only reason i bought it was for airsoft, and it works just fine for that. For the money it works just fine and looks awesome
Pros: looks like it should do more
Cons: only good for airsoft, no lens cover

Decent price for a neat little feature!!
i got this because this of all airsoft air red dot scopes/ cross scopes don't have such an innovative feature as this one. Appearance wise, it looks like a cross between an ACOG and an AIMPOINT for its horn-like extrusion from the scope's front, and its approximately the length of an AIMPOINT. It also has some Walther scope elements since thier product's scope diameter tend to be 40mm. Overall very satisfied with the product. Laser module was a plus of course. Looks very advanced for a red dot and can be compared with aimpoint and eotech's latest products in terms of aesthetics, but performance wise i know there will be a huge performance gap between what our armed forces are currently using compared to this sight.
Pros: great for airsoft and airguns with low recoil, neat integrated laser feature, quick detach, simultaneous operation for both red dot and laser sight, full metal scope
Cons: not recommended for real steel weapons, red dot sight can be brighter for outdoor conditions
