Works OK for $20.00. I purchased this to have a cheap spotting scope for the range, something inexpensive that I wouldn't have to worry about if it gets dropped or knocked over. It is cheaply made, remember you get what you pay for. I can see OK out to about 50-75 yards anything further than that, for me, would be pushing it. The clarity is just OK. The tripod that comes with it is useless, I used an old camera tripod and threw the one that came with the scope away....I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who is looking for quality and precision, but as a knock around I would say it's worth the $20.00.
