Most Helpful Positive Review NCStar 3-9X42
For the price this is a very nice compact riflescope. I reseached quite a few scopes before purchasing this one. It's not the best scope on the market by any means, but it has many of the options other scopes have for a fraction of the price. Both the red and green illuminations work well, the wi...

Most Helpful Negative Review WAS good, NOW JUNK!
When I bought it, it worked great. Zero'd nicely, nice clear view, illuminated well. After about 2 thousand rounds fired(.223), all that still works is the illuminated crosshair. *From 6-9 power the scope gets terribly blurry. *When zero'd @ 50 yds. on 4X and you adjust in the zoom to 6X, the poin...

Great Scope

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from AR, United States Written on January 14, 2011
Easy to mount and zero. Very positive adjustments, and so far, after 500+ .223 rounds, it is still zeroed. Of course I used Locktite on every screw. Great scope for the money, but they might could dim the lighted crosshairs just a bit. Semper Fi.
Pros: Everything
Cons: Lighted crosshairs are too bright in dim conditions

Great Bargain Scope.

by Legacy Reviewer, from WA, United States Written on December 17, 2009
great little scope. mounted it on a 22lr for target/tactics shooting. nice clear optics, adjustable diopter, variable power stays clear up to max magnification. decent light transmission. the illumination is a bit bright and thick. the lens caps are a nice feature, just seem a bit flimsy. havent broken. the eye relief is a short one, with not alot of travel, but for my low caliber use its perfect. quick acquisition and great for successive shots. the rings come attached but take them off and mount them properly they are just slapped on their, no thought. ncstar warns about bumping or dropping the scope will lose zero. but i havent been the kindest at all to this scope with training and target shooting. and its held zero without question. i guess im just lucky. i recommend this scope for the price.
Pros: Clear Optics, rugged protective coating, solid rings
Cons: somewhat unforgiving eye relief, lens caps look weak
