Perfect fit
Holes line up perfectly, super easy to install and finally a place to mount accessories on an M4 style rifle! Angled so your accessories are parallel with your barrel. My only issue: made in China....

The rail sections are not to spec
Don't know how anybody could screw this up but the picatinny rail section will not work with a standard double clamp Picatinny mount it will work with single screw but not a double screw mount? Don't know if it's just mine or all but it is not to standard picatinny rail spec

Rail Doesn’t seem to be to spec
Spacing are wrong, doesn’t fit optics/attachments that have more than two pegs that need to fit into the spacers.

Literally Unusable
The railing is NOT TO SPEC for a MIL-STD-1913 picatinny rail. I was looking forward to mounting my new scope on it just to find that it doesn't line up with the grooves in the rail.
For comparison I removed the carry handle and tried mounting the scope directly on the AR-15's picatinny rail. Low and behold it mounted just fine so the issue is with this part. Upon inspection, the grooves on the carry handle mount do not line up with the ones on the AR-15 which are to spec.

Poorly milled
I could not get my optic mount on this product. I even tried filing down some of the edges to get it to fit. It was WAY out of spec. How hard is it to manufacture a product to milspec? Bet the farm that this is made in China. Would not be my first experience with cheap crud from there (a set of poorly made decapping pins for a sizing die purchase from Amazon comes to mind). As always be very suspicious of a product that is dramatically less expensive than the other choices. I think OP is an excellent company, they just need to weed this product out of their inventory. It was so inexpensive that I did not want to make an issue of it with OP.

So far, so great!
I love this thing. It's not I used to hate my carry handle till it accepted it as a free riser. Now I can mount my optics and still have backup irons.

Item is in very short supply at other merchants. Optics had them and were fairly priced (compared to others who charged 5 to 10x as much)

Cost Effective and Sturdy
I normally wouldn't purchase an item from NcSTAR, but being as a carry handle rail mount isn't an extremely complex piece of hardware, I decided to go the cheap route. All it needs to do is fit snuggly, which it does. I don't believe the item description states this, but it is also windowed so that you can still use your irons. If you're looking for a rail to add to your carry handle, there's no point spending upwards of a hundred dollars.

Carry Handle Adapter
I have a stag arms replica of an M-16 A2 and it is the perfect accessory if you want to add an optic or a light. Sets in their good and solid and can support anything you place on it. I specifically got it for a light, and it works excellent for that purpose. I would certainly recommend it.
