Most Helpful Positive Review Works Great
Of the limited options available for AR-10 vise blocks, this was one of the few that was in stock at the time. I bought it to try and it worked great. I used this on an AERO M5 upper and had no issues with binding or spacing. Handles the barrel nut torque with no issue, and came right back apart. I like that you're not only relying on the cross pins to hold it in place.

Great solution for upper receiver work

I have one of these for AR-15 work and I love how securely it locks the receiver into the vice. When I decided to build an SR-25 I considered a reaction rod but when I saw they made these for AR-10’s at a fraction of the price of a reaction rod I decided to grab one.

Good But there are better.

This is nice. It’s weird to install but is super sturdy. I wish that the upper part went into the barrel because it kinda got stuck. It also left blue residue on my upper from the anodizing.

I would recommend using a style that actually goes into the barrel like The Real Avid vise Block for the Ar10.

AR 10 Block

Nice configuration. Stabilized the upper and locked into the vice perfectly. Installed barrel and torqued to spec. Won’t use it a lot but, when I need it ,it’s in my tool box.
I know I will avoid breaking or distorting the upper. Money saver

The construction and finish is excellent. It fit my DPMS upper perfectly. I used two paint stir sticks when I clamped it into my vise to not mar the finish. Worked exactly as expected
