The guard actively got in the way when driving the pin in, and it was nearly impossible to start the pin with this. But because of the design of the guard, the pin can’t be started first, it has to be started with the guard in place. After an hour of fussing with it, I gave up and used roll pin punches and masking tape which got the job done nearly instantly. Overall this tool is a cool concept but awful to use.
Pros:
  • Keeps the receiver from getting scratched
Cons:
  • Makes it harder to drive the pin
Best Used for:
  • the trash can
