This is a “must have” tool if you work on your own AR’s or like to build AR’s. If you’ve ever worried about stressing your lower receiver or even cracking it, especially 6061 aluminum, while torquing the castle nut, this tool holds the lower tight. Be careful “threading” the grip screw into your receiver. Best to use the screw “you use” on your receiver. You might need a washer or two. This is the how the receiver stays solid & tight.
