Good price bad optic - NcSTAR 4x30 Compact Rifle Scope w/P4 Sniper Reticle

I ordered this scope for the price. It is a sturdy, nice looking scope but that is the only positive aspects of it. I put it on a .22 rifle and tried to zero it at 25 yards. It was 22 inches low. I adjusted it (one click for each 1/4 inch). After the requisite 88 clicks, it was still 18 inches low. I maxed out the elevation adjustment and could only get it within 8 inches of center. It was shooting to the right about 4 inches but I didn’t even try to adjust that one. I would not waste any money on this scope or even this brand of scope.
