Great product for aging eyes and easy on the wallet

Good optic for casual shooter
The red dot sight I received is a lot sturdier than the plastic one NCSTAR makes. The red dot is bright and easy to see in various light conditions. It's still visible in the outdoors so that's good. (yes and no) depending on price
Got it on sale for 13 bucks so it was totally worth it. Doesn't fit perfectly but was able to get is pretty good with new screws and washers . I'd only use this on a 22lr or something that is low recoil. The fde color matched nice with the hogue fde.

Unable to zero
I mounted this on a Henry H001. The closest to zero I could get was more than a foot low. I tried several different times to mount it and the result was the same. Mostly I wasted about 150 rounds of 22.

NCSTAR Gen 2 DP Red Dot Sight
I mounted this sight on top of my AR carrying handle and fits nice. It is small Lightweight and does not hook onto gear. Bright dot and easy to adjust and zero in. Good Red dot sight for the price.
