i found the laser easy to use once it was mounted..the hard part was setting the alingment...the set screws are to small and i had to take it apart 4 times to get it right.... still it works well on my 1911 and seems to hold up well...
Pros: easy to use
Cons: hard to set up
Would recommend: Yes

Was able to mate this sight to an all stainless S&W J-frame revolver. Remove the grips and tracing their outline on a piece of thin brushed stainless stock. Carefully trim, drill and hammer the piece to ecactly fit under the right grip leaving an exposed tab at the top. Bend this tab out 90 deg. to the right keeping it perpendicular to the barrel, & drill a hole for the threaded stud at the back of the laser.
Sandwich the S/S sheet under the right grip and secure it with the grip screw. The mounted laser will sit low on the right side, just above the trigger & below the cylinder. Before tightening the mounting nut, make sure all 4 sighting screws are accessable (the left side screw must be reached through the open cylinder) For extra rigidity, either use heavier s/s stock or place a piece of auto trim mounting tape between the laser and the revolver frame. This installation looks & works great and even fits in my belt clip holster.
Pros: Very low $, attractive, bright, v. compact, easy to mount
Cons: Loose-sloppy aiming screws, trigger mount awkward
