We purchased two of these weaponlights to mount on an AR9 and an AR45, to enhance their suitability as home defense tools. The lights are easy to mount on short sections of pic rail that we installed on the carbines' MLOK handguards so that the support hand can reach the light switch while grasping the handguard.
The lights give an acceptable degree of illumination, and the switch location and operation can be learned, and the price was very attractive. Time will tell whether the lights hold up under recoil.
The lights could be brighter, and the switch could be easier to reach and operate; for these reasons I have deleted one star.
