"NOT III+" won't stop XM855 green tip

I bought 3 complete sets of armor from opticsplanet, all VISM III+ plates, (I'm aware there not rated by the national institute of Justice) which is why I have to put them over top of kevlar in order to carry them at work however after buying an entire set just to test they did not hold up to XM855 green tip 5.56 !
Pros:
  • Lightweight
  • It did stop 55g full metal jacket
Cons:
  • Won't stop XM855 green tip (plate was not compromised before test)
  • Thicc
Best Used for:
  • It's lvl 3 at best and I can't recommend
