Most Helpful Positive Review NcStar 6X42
Installed on hard recoiling rifle and holds zero better than some high-end scopes I use. Moderate size and weight are appreciated in the field. Pros: Holds zero on 338 mag, nice finish, very good optics Cons: P4 reticle instructions are confusing unless the user is familiar with Mil Dot types.

Excellent Scope

Mounted it on my .223 and set it at 100 yards, 4 hours later my nephew took his first deer, a doe at 175 yards with a perfect neck shot, this scope is well worth its money and then some, would definitely by another one and already recommended it to my friends.

Great value

Very nice scope for the money. Basic and easy to use. Unless you're doing really fancy long range shooting, or just feel compelled to spend more $$$ for a scope - this one should do the trick. I've never had any trouble with NcStar products. I put this on my Savage Axis 30-06 and can't wait to take it to the 200 yard range.

Very nice cheap scope

I like the price for the 6X42 option. The windage/elevation adjustments are changed by screwdriver, covered by a screw-on-cap. I think it's got a focusing adjustment (found out after shooting day), but haven't really been able to utilize it. Also shot nearly 100 rounds of 5.56/223, no major problems.
Pros: It's light, cheap, and fairly durable. Ok for moderate shooters
Cons: Need a tool for wind/elevation. The mil-dots are spread out wider (skips every other one)

2nd NcStar scope, won't be the last!

I continue to be amazed at the level of quality and refinement available from this brand. You'd be hard-pressed to find a better scope at twice the cost. I WILL buy more.
Pros: Great quality and optics, fantastic price.
Cons: Turrets aren't finger-adjustable, no biggie.

NcSTAR Rifle Scope - 6x42 Scope / Ruby SF642R

I have this scope mounted on a Gamo Air Rifle.
I replaced a fixed 4x scope.
I have it Set up for an average range of about 20-30yds
So as a fixed 6x scope I had to adjust the ocular eye adjustment out to get a nice clear focus at a close range. Not a problem. also looks very cool with the red tint on this rifle.

Pros: Great value for the price
Cons: have not found any as of yet.

NcSTAR Regular Rifle Scope - 6x42 Scope

It has bright and clear focus. There is a cool red tint on the lenses. It has no zoom which really facilitates a hold on Zero.
Pros: It is much better than some other scopes I've seen.
