Undersize Mounting Screws :(

The fasteners all came undersize. The all acted like the holes in my brand new Ruger had stripped out threads, but after close inspection you could plainly see they did not take the time to buy a quality fastener. 6-48 or any 6-daimeter fastener should have an outside diameter of around .135-.138, the NcStar ones all came in at .130. My Rugar set screws and the factory base screws all fit fine and measured .006 larger than the ones that came with this mount (very sad). They looked half rolled or half formed. Very sad, because I could not use this base because of this. Have to order screws now (not from NcStar).
Pros: Only out $10 (I still have a job)
Cons: Worthless mounting screws

Even with a low light scope you can still see under it to iron sights.
Pros: robust, allows you to use iron sights
Cons: nil
