I have owned my SKS for about 10 years. I started by replacing the stock about 6 years ago. Then I added a Sling, but I always wanted a Scope. When I saw this Kit on OpticsPlanet.com, I knew this was what I was looking for and I made the purchase. Well, when I received the Kit, I opened the box and to my surprise there where three separate parts. The main Tri-Rail Receiver cover had to be fitted by filing it to the correct fitting. It took me about two hours with my small file, but finally I got it done. Installing the rings and the Scope was a piece of cake and now my SKS looks Tough. The investment I made was minimal for the parts involved. Well worth the price, the effort and the outcome. Now I need some Ammo, everyone is out of stock.

l ordered one from an online dealer called Marstar Canada their online picture is the same as yours, on order l was put to some one in their fitting shop to tell me how to get it to fit because they are bigger and must be filed down to fit, when it arrived l put it on my sks it was smaller, l sent pictures showing how it sat on my receiver, l called back, already more then 1\32 forward of the back of the receiver if l filed it down to get the lock pin through, witch there is no way l could know how much l would have to take off and how much free space the bolt has before it hits the back of the cover, l was put to their gunsmith who told me if l thought it was defective to send it back but l would have to pay if it was not, l had got a 5 round mag all so that did not put the last round in but was sure that with the person l first talked to telling me it would bigger [extending behind the back of the receiver and this one was forward of the back of the receiver] l kept the scope and rings as it is the package as this, well the gunsmith emailed me the that the mag was defective but tri-mount was not it fit on their shop sks and if l wanted l would be sent a different tri-mount, l ask if it is not defective or the cover part to small well not all of them be the same size and well be to small and even smaller or more forward of the back of the receiver when filed so the lock pin well go though because l do not want to pay to ship an other part that well not fit [no one could tell...
