Great value for the price - NcSTAR STR Series Full-Size 1-6x24mm 30mm Tube Rifle Scope

Pros: It seems very well constructed and doesn’t feel cheap. The 1x functions very well as a close combat optic. I love that it comes with a throw lever. The mount is actually very nice “for a free mount”. It zooms in just enough to make 300yd engagements easier. Cons: It’s heavy. The illuminated reticle isn’t bright enough for very sunny day. The finish scratches very easily. All this being said overall I love this optic for the price. It performs well and I enjoyed using it. I am a veteran and I used a red dot in the military for a long time so this particular style of reticle is perfect for me. Someone with a hunting background or long range background may not like it. It is very much a CCO with medium range capabilities. I am used to shooting a red dot far so take this in to account.
