Tenn2's Review of NcSTAR Vism M and P 15-22 Keymod Free Float Handguard
My original M&P15-22 had the quad rail and just did not feel comfortable. Also I did not need near that much space to mount accs. So I was in search of something that would fit me and my use of the rifle.
After several months I came across the NcStar Vism handguard. It looked like what I was looking for in a handguard. Ordered it and it arrived promptly. Opened it up and was quite pleased with the look.
The install was not too difficult but you had to think it through and be careful not to mess up threads or drop the barrel. The instructions were OK but not perfect in my opinion. There seemed to be a step or 2 missing.
Overall the install looks very good. When I placed the order only the handguard was shown. Would have liked to have seen a picture of it on the rifle, but it turned out great anyway. Very Happy with the end result.
