Most Helpful Positive Review Excellent sights for the money!
Purchased VISM SPD FlipDot and have not been disappointed yet. The. V. SPD system is a solid sighting system that is well made and hold its accuracy even after 900 plus rounds down range. This optic has a large window that provides an excellent field of view. The red dot is bright even under direct sunlight. The solar panel feature works well and the reddot is well presented on the view finder. Very happy with this system for under $100. Great optis for the "Harry AR Homeowner."

Flip sight

Unfortunately I can't use this sight on the gun I wanted. However I like not having to remove the sight to change batteries but also being solar is a plus. The flip up makes it a smaller footprint you do need to practice hitting the button as you draw but it doesn't take long to get used to it.

More for air soft or small caliber

All the pins are loose, they are not peened or glued. The whole optic moves when firing. The springs on the vertical and horizontal adjustment screws are horribly weak and don’t last very long. It has nice looks and I really want it to work on my Kriss Vector, but it has a lot of flaws the need to be worked out.

It’s okay for a range gun

I bought this reflex sight just to have something cool and tacticool for my build but after a few trips to the range and maybe 1500 rounds the spring in the pop up lever popped out and the cover for the brightness down button came off and now I can move the dot with just and push of my fingers. I had it mounted on my 5.56 so maybe it’d be best suited on a ar9 or scorpion or 22lr. If you’re lookin for somethin that can take a beating and hold zero, this isn’t it. But it you want something nice but temporary or just something for the range, this would be great.

  • Folds down for storage, quick pop up
Cons:
  • Not made for heavy duty

  • Airsoft, range shooting
